When You Think You Want To Give Up – Don’t.
It seems pretty straight forward, doesn’t it?
Of course, it’s not always that simple, but then other times it really is.
The last few days have been challenging. Not dramatically so, but enough to make me wonder if leaving the house to do the things I had planned to do was really worth it.
Considering those things were things like dance classes, gym sessions, and planning shows – YES! Yes, it really is and was worth it!
It’s so easy to let yourself get distracted by an unproductive task, or convince yourself “I’ll go to the gym tomorrow”, but remember:
Tomorrow never comes. There is only today.
I’ve proven to myself this week that it is always worth getting up and moving and fighting for what you love to do, through any challenge, big or small. Every step forward is a step in the right direction, even if it doesn’t feel like you’re getting very far. The baby steps I’ve taken this week just might yield some pretty promising results next week, next month, or even next year!
This week, I was kept inspired by the people in my life who are doing their own amazing things. To those people I hold dear to my heart who are out their doing their thing and kicking their goals - thank you. You may not know it, but you keep me up and moving!
Keep telling your stories, because you never know who is going on your journey with you!
